Renovate Europe Day 2024

Thanks to the fact that Hungary is the successive president of the European Union, the Renovate Europe Day (ReDay) will be held in Budapest this October. In connection with the annual traditional event, a Renovate Hungary themed program will also take place. The conference is the first domestic event dedicated to the renovation and decarbonization of the building sector. Our speakers will be high-ranking European and domestic decision-makers, heads of state administration, and senior managers of energy efficiency companies. In the afternoon, parallel sessions will discuss domestic challenges and tasks with the broad participation of stakeholders.

The conference is organized together with our international umbrella organization, the Renovate Europe Campaign. Since 2011, the Renovate Europe Campaign (REC), launched by the international energy efficiency professional organization Efficient Buildings Europe, has been organizing the European Renovation Day (ReDay) every year. The event, which has been organized in Brussels for more than 10 years, has been organized since last year by the member state holding the successive presidency of the Council of Europe, so the 2023 ReDay was organized in the Spanish capital, Madrid. The 2024 event will be hosted by Hungary.
